2D UX DESIGN

2011 – 2015

As a UX designer, I collaborated closely with engineers, program managers, and user researchers to create award-winning, best-in-class content consumption experiences for Microsoft’s MSN/Bing apps across multiple platforms—including News, Weather, Sports, Finance, Travel, Health & Fitness, and Food & Drink—for Windows, iOS, Android, and web.

Within a small design team of 5–10, I owned the end-to-end design process, including ideation, sketching, prototyping, information architecture, navigation, data visualization, interaction design, visual design, and branding.

With a background in engineering, I fostered strong collaboration with the development team and led hands-on design integration efforts to ensure pixel-perfect implementation during production. The MSN/Bing app suite was widely recognized by media outlets as one of the best showcases of Microsoft’s Metro design language—delivering rich content with a fluid, modern user experience.
