2D UX DESIGN

2011 – 2015

As a UX Designer on Microsoft’s MSN/Bing Apps, I collaborated with engineers, program managers, and user researchers to deliver award-winning, best-in-class content experiences across platforms—including News, Weather, Sports, Finance, Travel, Health & Fitness, and Food & Drink—on Windows, iOS, Android, and the web.

Within a small design team of 5–10, I owned the end-to-end design process: ideation, sketching, prototyping, information architecture, navigation models, data visualization, interaction design, visual design, and branding.

Leveraging my engineering background, I drove close alignment with development and led hands-on integration throughout production, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation. The MSN/Bing suite became widely recognized by the press as a showcase of Microsoft’s Metro design language—pairing rich content with a fluid, modern, highly polished user experience.
